Alexandrian-based Walid el Sawi’s solo exhibition consists of a set of nine short videos, which were made between 2012 and 2018. The videos, which show no clear inter-connection with each other and are deprived of any evident plotline, expose the public to a hearth of ungraspable ideas and thoughts, through minimalistic scenarios, spanning from surreal and dream-like representations, to animated sequences, to real-life, yet unusual representations.
يتألف معرض وليد الصاوي المقيم في الإسكندرية من مجموعة من تسعة أشرطة فيديو قصيرة ، والتي تم تحضيرها في الفترة ما بين 2012 و 2018. لا تظهر هذه الفيديوهات أية علاقة بين بعضها و ايضا هي خالية من اي سياق واضح ، فهي تعّرض الجمهور لموقد من الخواطر والأفكار التي لا يمكن تفسيرها ، من خلال سيناريوهات صغيرة، تمتد من السيناريوهات السيريلالية والتخيلية ، إلي التتابعات المتحركة ، إلى تمثيلات واقعية غير مألوفة.
