Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art is thrilled to present the group exhibition 'My Favourite Things', which features works of the three talents Hend Samir, Norhan Alaa and Marwa Saad. According to curator Stefania Angarano these artists, who already took part in previous group shows, are the revelation of this season. The diverse and intriguing exhibition matches contrasting works at times extravagant, at others minimalist yet always surreal and metaphoric. Hend Samir expresses on canvas the folly and madness of everyday life, while Marwa Saad portrays magical hedgehogs as metaphor of humans and Norhan Alaa uses tiles and concrete as vectors to represent the different types of interaction between people.
